In line with task (m) described in Article 37(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/943, Regional Coordination Centres (RCCs) carry out tasks to identify potential regional electricity crisis scenarios. These tasks are performed when delegated under Articles 5 and 6(1) of Regulation (EU) 2019/941 on risk-preparedness in the electricity sector.
In 2024, the task was executed by identifying the relevant regional electricity crisis scenarios. Operational performance was supported through participation in ENTSO-E working groups, allowing to contribute at each stage of the assessment process.
The final report was shared with the relevant stakeholders. The process is scheduled to be repeated in 2028, following the established four-year cycle, to maintain updated assessments and continuous preparedness.
