Training and Certification

Under the Training and Certification (T&C) task, continuous training and certification activities are carried out to ensure that RCC operators performing regulated tasks have the necessary competencies and expertise. It is based on the RCC Training and Certification Methodology, developed under Article 37(1)(g) of Regulation (EU) 2019/943 and approved by ACER in May 2022.

T&C includes the development of an internal training programme and annual training plan, as well as joint training programmes and modules for regulated services. All RCC operators must be certified by 2026 in accordance with the defined training guidelines and materials.

Since 2023, in cooperation with the T&C implementation working group, Baltic RCC has developed the Joint Training Programme and initiated training modules for relevant pan-European and regional tasks.
